What’s the name of your business? AleksandraD Fashion & Design
What made you come up with this name? Its typical in the fashion industry to use your name for your brand. My close friends & family started calling it Aleksandra D Fashion and people loved it. So, I stuck with it.
What services and/or products do you provide? Fashion design, dressmaking, alterations and sales of clothing, accessories and shoes
What’s the main problem you solve for your customers? Getting the latest fashion trends at an affordable price
What areas do you cover (geographically)? Mostly Kingston & St. Andrew, Portmore and Spanish Town. But I have customers from every parish, even as far as Negril.
How long have you been in business? 2022 makes 18 years
How many employees do you have (including the owners)? 6
How many other branches or locations do you have? 1
Why would customers choose you over one of your competitors? They get exactly what they want with a very friendly service
Why did you go into this business? Growing up I would alter my own clothes which later grew into making my own clothes. So when I left school and couldn’t easily find a job, I started to offer my services to friends and people in the community.
